SMS consent flows

BottleSpeed is a product of Infinite Recycling Solutions, LLC and the consumer-facing messaging brand. BottleSpeed provides point-of-sale software to recycling stores. A store can send a one-time digital receipt link only after the customer requests SMS delivery and verbally agrees to the exact disclosure below. Users can also request account verification codes after the separate disclosure below. These messages do not include marketing.

Verification summary
Program: BottleSpeed SMS Digital Receipts. Opt-in method: verbal. Typical frequency: one message per requested receipt.
Requested account verification codes

During sign-up, sign-in, or account phone verification, the user enters their own mobile number and requests a one-time code. The request button appears with this disclosure before the text is sent:

By requesting a code, you agree to receive a one-time verification text from BottleSpeed, a product of Infinite Recycling Solutions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. SMS terms and privacy policy.

Each request authorizes one code text. Users can sign up with email instead, or sign in with an email already linked to their account. Receipt consent is collected through the separate POS flow below. Before sending a verification text, BottleSpeed records the user, number, request time, purpose, disclosure text, and request-button consent method. This record remains after the code is used and does not contain the code.

Opt-in flow

How verbal consent is collected

The customer controls whether to receive a text receipt. SMS consent is optional, separate from checkout, and never a condition of purchase. Email or no receipt remains available without SMS consent.

Customer requests a text receipt

After checkout, the customer voluntarily asks store staff to send the completed transaction receipt by SMS.

Staff reads the exact script

Staff confirms the mobile number and reads the complete disclosure below before asking for a clear yes or no.

Staff records the customer’s yes

The send action remains disabled until staff attests that the script was read and the customer verbally agreed.

Exact script

Staff see and must read this script before every SMS receipt. Script version 2026-09-07.

Store staff
Would you like your receipt sent by text message? If yes, please provide or confirm your mobile number. BottleSpeed, a product of Infinite Recycling Solutions, LLC, will send one text message containing a secure link to your receipt for this transaction. Message frequency varies based on how often you request text receipts; a typical request sends one message. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Do you agree to receive this text?

Staff may proceed only if the customer clearly says yes. A no, silence, or ambiguous response does not authorize an SMS.

Participation is subject to the SMS Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

POS evidence

Simulated POS consent screens

These review images use dummy customer and transaction data. They reproduce the script, attestation requirement, and Send receipt states used in the authenticated BottleSpeed POS; they are not records of a real customer interaction.

Before verbal consent is recorded
The required attestation is unchecked and Send receipt is disabled.
After verbal consent is recorded
Staff has attested to the customer’s affirmative response and Send receipt is enabled.

Recordkeeping

How consent is recorded and retrieved

After the customer says yes, staff must check an attestation in the authenticated POS. The backend independently requires that attestation and creates a consent record before contacting Twilio.

Retained consent evidence
Records are stored in BottleSpeed’s access-controlled application database and can be retrieved by authorized Infinite Recycling Solutions, LLC personnel using the recipient number, transaction, store, or consent date.
  • Consent timestamp and verbal opt-in method
  • Exact consent script and script version
  • Normalized destination mobile number
  • Transaction, store, and staff user identifiers
  • Initial Twilio status, Twilio-reported send timestamp when present, and message identifier

Opt out and help

Instructions provided after consent

The first and only receipt message confirms the opt-in and repeats the customer’s controls.
